摘要
本文详细介绍了关联理论的隐喻观 ,并将它和其他隐喻理论进行了比较 ,发现关联理论从心理的角度、以动态的方式考察隐喻 ,弥补了传统理论在说明隐喻的成因和工作机制方面的不足。
This paper begins with a detailed explanation of relevance view of metaphor,followed by a comparison with other metaphor theories.A close examination of these theories leads to the discovery that the Relevance Theory,by adopting a psychological and dynamic approach to metaphor,complements traditional theories in providing a fuller and more satisfactory interpretation of the cause and the working mechanism of metaphor.
