Deterrence strategy is an effective way of achieving the peaceful reunification of the two sides of Taiwan Straits. It fits well with the developing trend of the current world's military strategy and the interest principle of the current war. By the comparison of the two sides' military weapons and equipment, the morale force, the war potential and viewing from the position of the U.S.A., we have constituted an absolute deterrence over Taiwan. In the process of carrying out the deterrence strategy, only by following the basic principles of the deterrence strategy and by flexibly using the policy, can we achieve the predeterminate purpose of the deterrence strategy.
