英文写作历来是英语专业教学的难点之一，尽管师生双方都作出了很大的努力，收效往往不甚令人满意。常见的几种英文写作教学模式都存在着某些缺陷与不足。多媒体写作教学能有效地弥补这些写作模式的不足，在指导性写作、自由写作和合作性写作等写作类型的教学上更能体现其优越性。

Writing teaching has been one of the difficult courses to English majors. The approaches and methods commonly adopted in English classrooms inevitably have their limitations. Multimedia computer, by its word processor, multimedia functions and network, can make up for the limitations. In addition, it can also aid the teaching of Guided Writing, Free Writing and Collaborative Writing so as to promote the students writing ability.
