生态伦理有其深厚的文化渊源 ,人类在初始时期就具有了朴素的生态伦理意识 ,在世界四大宗教以及中国儒道哲学中都蕴含着丰富的生态伦理思想。马克思关于“自然—人—社会”辩证关系的理论不但与生态伦理学具有一致的旨趣 ,而且还为当代生态伦理学的良性发展提供了一定的理论支撑和正确的价值导向。

Ecoethics has its profound cultural origins. Simple ecoethic consciousness came into being in early human history. Rich ecoethic thoughts abound in the four most important world religions and in the philosophies of Confucianism and Taoism. Marx's theory on the dialectical relation of 'nature-man-society' not only accords with ecoethics but also provides certain theoretical support for the sound development of the contemporary ecoethics.
