英汉范围变动型模糊限制语对比研究

Rounders in English and Chinese

从语义和语用的角度出发 ,对比英汉范围变动型模糊限制语的研究发现 ,尽管在语义和句法结构方面 ,英语和汉语中范围变动型模糊限制语存在一定的差异 ,但从语用和交际的角度分析 ,它们的使用有相同的语用特征 ,体现了语用策略的运用。此研究对英语教学、跨文化交际、翻译等具有参考价值。

This paper explores the similarities and differences between Chinese and English in the use of rounders through analysis of data from oral and written discourses. Qualitative results show that the range of rounders in English and Chinese is different in terms of semantic meanings and syntactic distribution. However, it is found that choices of rounders in English and Chinese are not made according to rigid rules, but rather on the basis of flexible strategies.
