从语言习得的角度界定文化的基本特征,用"文化习得"和"语言习得"两个概念描述"跨文化交际能力"在外语教学中的功能与作用.
The article explores the linkage between language learning and culture learning under the framework of cultural studies.The contention is that proficiency in language performance relies on familiariy with cultural codes that underlay the discursive structure.The process of language learning is,therefore,a cultural encoding.
