摘要
The inscriptions on the tablet for meeting and alliance between Tang and Tibet in the year of 823 is very convincible and valuable, as the Chinese characters on it were noted by Tibetan alphabet. The Tibetan letter fi following the voiced initial stops should be used to express the voiced aspirate and when it following unvoiced stops should be the medial. The author argues that it was used as vowel & when following the libials in the third class characters.
