摘要
本研究调查了中国英语学习者解答听力多项选择题的信息加工过程。结果表明 ,在理解过程中 ,受试无论语言能力如何 ,都会同时调动语言知识和非语言知识 ,所不同的是加工模式 ;语言信息的加工更为基本、关键 ,并对非语言知识的调动起约制作用。多项选择题题型对考题的内容结构效度构成威胁 :对听力强的受试有利 ,对听力弱的受试不利 ;在语言加工不力的情况下 ,时常诱发缺乏理据的猜测。即时追述法使用得当 ,可使我们对受试的一些信息加工过程作出有效的推断。
An introspective study was conducted to explore the test_taking processes of Chinese EFL learners in test of listening comprehension employing the multiple_choice format. The results revealed the role of linguistic and non_linguistic knowledge in the subjects' listening processes. They also indicated that the MC method favoured the more advanced listener but put the less able at a disadvantage and that it allowed much uninformed guessing, thus posing threats to the construct validity. Methodologically, immediate retrospection, when employed properly, was shown to be a promising research procedure for accessing some of the essential listening comprehension test_taking processes.
