摘要
BIBO(Bi B3O6 )晶体是一种新型的非线性光学晶体 ,物化性能稳定、光损伤阈值高 ,并且具有相当大的非线性光学系数 ,可以制作成频率变换器件 ,获得高效的倍频激光输出。报道了用 BIBO晶体对一台运转于 94 6 nm激光谱线的激光二极管 (L D)抽运 Nd:YAG激光器进行腔内倍频获得高效率的 4 73nm蓝光输出的实验结果。用国产的激光二极管端面抽运厚 2 .2 mm,掺杂浓度 1 .0 at.- %的 Nd:YAG激光晶体 ,在注入抽运光功率为 1 .6 W时 ,用 5 mm长的 类临界位相匹配 BIBO晶体获得的 TEM0 0 模蓝光输出达 1 83m W,相应的腔内倍频转换效率为 1 1 .4 %,比同样工作条件下 1 0 m m长 类 L BO晶体的倍频效率高 4 5 %以上。
BIBO (BiB_3O_6) crystal is a novel nonlinear crystal, which has stable physical and chemical properties, high destroy threshold, and big nonlinear effective coefficient, so BIBO crystal can be used as frequency conversion device to obtain efficient second harmonic wave generation. In this paper, high efficient blue laser at 473 nm was generated by BIBO crystal inserted in a diode-pumped Nd∶YAG (Y_3Al_5O_ 12) laser at 946 nm for intra-cavity frequency doubling. A home made laser diode was used to end pump a piece of 2.2 mm long Nd∶YAG crystal dopped with 1.0 at.-%. With 1.6 W pumped laser, 183 mW TEM_ 00 mode stable blue laser output was obtained by a 5 mm long Ⅰ typed BIBO crystal, conversion efficiency up to 11.4%, which was about 45% higher than a 10 mm long Ⅰ typed LBO (LiB_2O_3) crystal.
