在新时期,邓小平在继承和发展毛泽东文艺思想的基础上,逐步形成了具有中国特色的社会主义新文艺思想——邓小平文艺思想。本文将其基本内核归纳为五个方面:文艺建设要服从和服务于经济建设这个中心;继承和发扬中华民族优良的思想文化传统,吸收人类文明的一切优秀成果,建设社会主义新文艺;人民需要艺术,艺术更需要人民;文艺产品要把社会效益放在首位;文艺建设的落脚点应在于:满足人精神生活多方面的需要,提高全社会的思想道德水平。
