About How to Foster the Virtue of Students

学校要把教育的最终目标定位在以学生终身发展为本之上。一个人的未来成就如何,能否有良好的终身发展,决定于他所具有的知识、能力和品德。其中,品德对学生终身发展起着决定性作用。影响学生发展的品德因素很多,其中“高远的目标意识”、“执着的竞争意识”、“强烈的社会责任感”、“坚强的意志品格”及“良好的行为习惯”等作用更大。

Education in school sets its ultimate aim on the whole-life development of students while whether or not students can achieve this depends on their knowledge, ability and morality. Among those three, morality plays a decisive role in the students' all-life development. As to the moral factors, great consciousness of aim, persistent consciousness of competition, strong sense of social responsibility, firm will and good habits play more important part.
