A Fast Packet Classification Technique Based on Rule Table

数据包分类技术属于高速网络数据处理中的关键技术[1],在对已有数据包分类技术作简单比较的基础上,提出了一种基于查找表的数据包快速分类技术。该技术保留了纯软件方案的良好扩展性,获得了ASIC的线速处理速度,减轻了CPU的负载,对提高网络数据处理速度具有十分重要的意义。

Packet classification technology is very important in high speed network processing.This paper will introduce the detail of rule table which is used to process the packets on internet.In comparison with the traditional technique it not only holds the well expansibility,but also lightens the load of CPU,the most important is enhances the process speed more.
