From the training target and mode requirements of vocational education this paper elaborates the position and importance of carrying out course reconstitution and conducting modular teaching in higher vocational education. This paper also discusses the course reconstitution and modular teaching mode of mechanics-electronics applied technique speciality on the basis of reason and requirements of course reconstitution, division of mould, requirements of speciality ability, allocation of teachers and instruments, compilation of textbook, etc.
