社会主义是张君劢自由主义思想的重要组成部分。张君劢的社会主义思想 ,既有着深刻的中国传统文化的根柢 ,也用着浓厚的西方特别是德国、英国的哲学背景 ,并且经历了从社会民主主义到国家社会主义再到民主社会主义的变化过程。他的这一思想 ,有着深刻而合理的成分 ,但由于这一理论自身的矛盾性和中国史境的特殊性 ,最终成为“不可兑现的方案”。

Socialism is an important component of Zhang Junmai's liberalism. His socialism not only has a foundation of deep Chinese traditional culture, but also has the west philosophy background, especially the Germany and Britain. It has gone through the change course from social democraticism to state socialism and then to socialist democracy. His liberalism has deep and rational composition, but because of the contradiction of this theory itself and particularity of the Chinese context, it becomes 'the scheme that can't be fulfilled' finally.
