USSD(Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a new interactive data service based on GSM networks. This kind of service can satisfy the requirements of users in different levels, and can make benefits for mobile telecommunication providers. This paper discusses some basic conception and characteristics of USSD, and introduces and analyzes the network structure, service flow , main functions and some services of USSD system according to the actual applications.
