语篇理解是认知心理学的重要课题之一。语篇理解的研究经历了一个不断发展的过程。上世纪80年代以前的理论,主要重视知识的表征和知识在记忆中的建构过程。随着认知心理学的发展和精细研究方法和技术的出现,对语篇理解的研究向更加精细化方向发展,研究者对语篇理解认知过程进行了更为细致深入的研究,提出了一系列新的理论和模型。

Discourse comprehension is an important subject in cognition.Since 1970s,discourse comprehension has made great progress. Researchers claimed how information represents and constructs in memory in 1970s.Through on-line technique,discourse comprehension developed to elaboration.The empirical research has focused on the processing of discourse comprehension in 1980s, and a series of theories and models were proposed and illustrated.
