摘要
一个国家的企业文化与该国的民族文化有密切的联系,并在很大程度上受制于该国的哲学思维方式与传统文化。美中思维方式的差异主要表现在如下四组对立性特征上(1)个人主义与集体主义(2)理性主义与经验主义;(3)实用主义与理想主义。本文主要围绕这三组对立性特征,并紧密联系民族文化背景,对美中企业文化之间的差异进行了对比分析,较为系统、全面地展示了美国企业的硬管理文化和中国企业的软管理文化特征。
A corporate culture in a country has a close connection with its national culture and, to a great extend, is restricted to the philosophical thinking pattern and the traditional culture. American and Chinese thinking vary in the four distinctive features: (1) individualism versuscollectivism; (2) rationalism versus empiricism; (3) practicalism versus idealism. Based on the four sets, this paper is to make a contrastive study on the difference between the corporate cultures between American and Chinese enterpriseswith the back- ground of national cultures. It aims at a systemtic and complete elaboration of the cultural characteristics of the 'hard' management in American enterprises and the 'soft' management in Chinese enterprises
