摘要
提出一种高效的汽车牌照自动识别系统预处理方法。采用文中提出的图象分析法对汽车牌照进行定位,利用Soble边缘检测法和大津展之的二值化方法处理图象,最后送入字符识别系统进行识别。实验结果表明,该方法具有快速准确的特点,明显提高了系统的识别率。
This paper introduces an efficient algorithm for pre-processing in license plate automatic recognition system. In this paper, in the first place a new image analysis method is used to locate the vehicle license, then preprocessing is carried out by edge detection and binary conversion, and finally the result is obtained with the character recognition system. The results of experiments show that the algorithm is fast and efficient, and high recognition rate is achieved.
