一种混合WDMA-OCDMA系统的性能分析

Performance analysis of a hybrid WDMA-OCDMA system

摘要 分析了一种混合WDMA OCDMA系统的性能,该系统将可用带宽划分成两部分,一部分用于OCDMA用户,另一部分用于WDMA用户。当可用带宽在WDMA与OCDMA之间不同的分配情况下,研究了该混合系统的总用户数和频谱效率。分析结果表明,在要求的误比特率条件下,随着OCDMA系统占用波长信道数目的增加,WDMA OCDMA混合系统的总用户数将增加,而系统的频谱效率将急剧下降。 The performance of a hybrid WDMA-OCDMA system is analyzed. Total available bandwidth is divided into two parts, one for OCDMA system and another for WDMA system. Total users and spectral efficiency are studied under different proportion of total available bandwidth that is allocated to OCDMA and WDMA. Analysis result shows that, under the required bit error rate(BER), the number of total users will become larger when more number of wavelength channels is used for OCDMA. However, spectral efficiency of WDMA-OCDMA will decrease drastically.
