为了解决目前局域网内语音实时通信和推进低速率语音编码技术的实际应用，基于低速率语音编解码算法和网络传输技术设计了一个能够应用于局域网的语音实时通信系统．该系统包括语音采集、压缩编码、网络传输和后处理等主要模块，在语音编码技术和网络传输技术的基础上结合计算机多媒体技术给出了各个模块的软件实现方法．计算机仿真结果表明，系统在局域网中传输稳定，通信可靠，能够完成语音实时通信有着潜在的应用价值．

<abstract> resolve nowadays real-time speech communication in LAN and speed up the application of the low rate speech coding technique, a real-time speech communication system applied in LAN based on low bit rate speech coding and network transmission technique is designed. The modules of sampling, compression, transmission and post-processing about speech signal are included in this system. The software implementation method for above modules is given based on the technique of speech coding, network transmission and computer multimedia. The computer simulation result indicates that the real-time communication can be performed stable and reliable in this system and the system has the potential value for LAN application.
