The Decay Estimate of Solutions for Some Nonlinear Hyperbolic Equation with a Weak Dissipative Term

如果ρ(v)满足?∞<ρ(v)<+∞,由ρ(ut)产生的耗散影响在|ut|大时是弱的。本文应用一个差分不等式得到了带有弱耗散项的非线性双曲型方程初边值问题解的衰减估计。

If ρ(v) satis?es ?∞ < ρ(v) < +∞; The dissipative e?ect by ρ(ut) is weak as |ut| is large and for convenience we call such a term weak disspation. In this paper we derive a precise decay estimate of the solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for the nonlinear hyperbolic equation with a week dissipative term using a di?erence inequality.
