广州市4～8岁儿童体格发育现状

Evaluation of Growth and Development Status of Children Aged 4-8 Years in Guangzhou City

目的 了解经济发达地区儿童体格发育现状 ,为儿童的营养指导和干预提供依据。方法 采用 2阶段整群抽样法调查广州市 4～ 8岁儿童 91 0 8名 ,以身高、体重、皮褶厚度、上臂围等指标反映体格发育水平 ,采用基于WHO标准的Z分评价儿童的身体发育状况。结果 被调查儿童低体重检出率男童为 3.75% ,女童为 2 .98% ;肥胖发生率男童为 6 .6 7% ,女童为 5.0 1 % ;生长发育迟缓率男童为 3.2 4 % ,女童为 2 .4 3%。各年龄段儿童的身高别体重Z分 (WHZ)、年龄别体重Z分 (WAZ)、年龄别身高Z分 (HAZ)均值均小于 0 ,但体重平均Z分高于身高。结论 广州市 4～ 8岁儿童体格发育整体状况较好 。

ObjectiveTo investigate the physical developme nt status and anemia prevalence of children in economically developed areas. MethodsAbout 9 108 children aged 4-8 years were selected by two-s t age stratified sampling in Guangzhou city. The anthropometric data (weight, heig ht, skillfold thickness and upper arm circumferences) were collected, and Z scor es based on WHO standard were used to evaluate physical development status of ch ildren. ResultsThe rates of underweight, overweight and stunti ng for boys were 3.75%, 6.67%, 3.24%, for girls, the rates were 2.98%, 5.01%, 2. 43% respectively. The average WHZ, WAZ and HAZ of children at all age stages in Guangzhou were lower than zero, however the means of WAZ were larger than the me ans of HAZ. ConclusionThe physical development of children age d 4-8 years in Guangzhou has improved greatly, but nutrition education should a lso be strengthened.
