摘要
刘永济、程千帆两代国学大师的治学之道 ,其特点是由博返约、厚积薄发 ,文献考据与理论批评相结合 ,“知”与“能”相统一 ;他们人格高尚 ,忠诚教育事业 ,尊师重教 。
The quintessence of the studies of Professor LIU Yong\|ji and CHENG Qian-fan as great masters of the Chinese traditional culture lies in the following way. They would never make an attempt at any thesis writing until a thorough and profound reading and thinking have been accomplished. Meanwhile, their examination of the ancient Chinese document had always been closely combined with the application of theory criticism, and the consistency between what one grasps in literary theory and one’s literary writing practice is also highly stressed on the dedication to their teaching careers, the respect for their teachers as well as the recommendation and promotion they made towards their followers are an exhibition of their noble personalities.
