摘要
从典籍中关于"礼乐"传统的记叙和《左传》中的引《诗》赋《诗》例看,早在孔子诗论之前,作为儒家诗教基石的功利诗学观和"中和"艺术观已具雏形,并产生了广泛影响。以孔子诗论为源头的儒家诗教,只是对"礼乐"传统的继承与发展,并不具备原创性。儒家诗教之所以具有经久不衰的生命力量,其根本原因在于它脱胎于有着深厚民族文化底蕴的"礼乐"传统。
The Confucian Doctrine of Instruction through Poetry, the origin of which has been regarded to be the Poetics of Confucius, is, in fact, a succession and development of the tradition of 'etiquette and music' instead of an initiative proposition. The Confucian doctrine enjoys such a regenerating power only because it's deeply rooted in the tradition of 'etiquette and music' with everlasting national spirit of Chinese culture. The records of the traditional etiquette and music in ancient classics as well as the prologue and prose work of Zuo's Commentary indicate that, long before the doctrine came into being, the utilitarian poetics and artistic concept of harmony, the so-called foundation of the doctrine had already been developed with a far-reaching cultural impact.
