Study on an image fusion algorithm with cross band multi-operator wavelet decomposition

摘要 提出了一种新的多传感器图像融合算法。该算法综合考虑小波同层各子带及相邻层子带分解系数的特征,采用基于图像空间能量窗测度的自适应多算子规则构造融合图像。对可见光与红外图像、可见光与毫米波图像融合试验结果表明,融合图像含有更丰富的信息量,有效地保留了输入图像的互补特征信息。 A new multi-sensor image fusion algorithm is proposed. Comprehensively taking account of the properties of various subbands in single wavelet level and decomposition coefficient of the adjacent subband, the algorithm constructs fusion image by using an adaptive multi-operator rule based on image spatial local energy measure. The fusion testing of visible light vs. IR image and visible light vs. millimeter wave image shows that the fusion image consists of more information quantity and effectively maintains the complementary characteristic information of the input image.
