Florida had very important economic and strategic value in American history. In the early years of 19th century, New Orleans, located in the west Florida, was an important passage of American farm and outside industry produces in Mississippi valley. Spain's governing Florida seriously restricted economy development in west American, which also endangered the frontier stabilization in the west and the south. From Jefferson administration to Monroe's, in order to take control of Florida area, America had negotiated with Spain in a long-term companying with the military occupation. Ultimately, respecting with Florida and American western borderline issues, Spain was compelled to subscribe the Florida Treaty with America.
