Coastal Erosion in the Yellow River Delta Area and Coastal Protection Technique

黄河过去每年平均有 1 0亿多吨泥沙入海 ,淤积塑造了黄河三角洲 ,然而 2 0世纪 90年代以来由于水沙锐减甚至断流干河 ,造成海岸严重蚀退。分析了黄河三角洲目前海岸蚀退的3种状况 ;推荐采用水力插板桩坝新技术建设防潮堤 ;

The Yellow River used to discharge more than 10×10 8 tones of annual mean sediment into the sea to silt up and mould the Yellow River delta, but the serious coastal erosion has been caused by the sharp decrease in coming water and sand or the zero flow of the Yellow River since the 1990s. In this paper, 3 kinds of coastal retrogradation case in the Yellow River delta area are analysed, the new technique of hydraulic penetrating sheet pile dam is recommended to construct the tidal defence, and the problems needing attention with the coastal engineering in the Yellow River delta area are pointed out.
