The comprehensive promotion of seismic safety of coastal engineering in Qingdao is not only a key scientific program but also a systematic engineering construction, and is of great importance to the sustainable development of Qingdao′s economy. In this paper, the present situation of seismic safety of coastal engineering in Qingdao and the measures taken for promoting its seismic safety are preliminarily discussed.
