A Study on the Ancient - modern Characters and the Words Derived from the Same Root Used in Lao - zi of Old Chu State Bamboo Slips Unearthed at Guo Dian

楚简《老子》所用文字属战国楚系文字,其中使用了大量的通假字、异体字、古今字和同源字,给我 们阅读带来诸多不便。因此有必要进行整理扣比较研究。

The characters in old Chu State bamboo slips were characters in old Chu State during the Warring States. There were many characters used for interchangeabale ones or to represent homothones, variant forms of Chinese characters and the ancient - modern characters, the words derived from the same root, which meed to be systematized and studied.
