摘要 目前,在学术界就如何运用新的教学理念和语言能力测试方法,实现大学英语教育向素质教育转变已成为教改热点研究的课题。进行有效、真实、可信的口语测试是提高学生素质的一种很好的手段。通过对相关考生随机抽样分析研究,结果显示,期末对非英语专业学生口试是行之有效的,是普遍受到师生欢迎的一项教改措施。 At present educators in the academic world focus on the hot research topic as to the adoption of new teaching concepts and linguistic aptitude tests to attain the objective of education reform, i.e. the transition of EFL education to quality education in institutions of higher learning. It is an appropriate measure to administer an effective, real and liable oral English test so as to raise the quality of university students. By selecting samples of related testees at random for statistical analysis research, the findings indicate that the administration of an oral test to non-English-major students is workable, and it is also a most welcome reform practice from instructors and students.
