Referring to the association between the buildings and global ecological environment, the enormous negative effects of buildings on environment are discussed, which have threatened the global ecological safety. Authors point out that ecological buildings are the first choice for sustainable development of buildings and the global ecological safety, and the implementing strategy for eco-building is also discussed.
