陕北方言表贬义的"儿"可以做形容词,表义比较灵活、宽泛,犹坏、差劲、不好、不行、赖、丑陋、下流、胡(搞)、瞎(做)等等;可以表示程度深,犹北京话的程度副词"极"、"坏";也可以作语素,与其它语素构成一些贬义色彩的词。贬义"儿"的用法早在汉代文献中就出现了。

It can express a deep degree just like the verbs 'ji(极)' 'huai(坏)' in the dialect of Beijing. It can also be used as a language unit to form some derogatory terms with other language units.
