The on-line measurement & control technique of cable is discussed, and the equipment for this technique is developed. The equipment mainly consists of transmit roop, transmit controller, receiving roop, receving controller, PLC and draught motors . tt can not only indicates position of cable, but also controls pendency of cable in the sulfuration ripe. The function of alarm is designed. The equipment also can aljust Itself to kinds of cables and the situation where parameter of cap-acitance changes. The method is new ,and it can be applied several other facets.
