城市设计中的理性主义与经验主义——评南京仙林大学城中心区城市设计国际竞赛中奖方案

美国学者琼琅将城市设计理论划分为两个阵营:理性主义和经验主义。在仙林大学城中心区的城市设计竞赛中,“网络城市”和“三个湖的城市”方案分别是这两种流派的鲜明代表。通过这两个方案的比较,将浪漫的自然因素和理性的科学分析相结合,可以提供给我们城市设计实践的新启示。

American scholar Jon Lang divides urban design theoryinto two camps of rationalism and empiricism. In the urban contest of theCentral Area of Xianlin University Town, either the program NetworkCity or Three Lakes City separately represents the one of two schools.Through comparing the two programs, the authors think that the combi-nation of romantic natural factors with the rational scientific analysis willgive us new enlightenment for practice of urban design.
