Reeently in design of new or expansion constnletion of power plant, the more and more projects of large generator units full adapt computer monitoring for electric equipnlents, in which the important role is from the conventional control to DCS monitoring for auxiliary power supply system. Aeeording to the new changes eombiued with second stage expansion project design (2x300MW) to be implemented for Guangan power plant, the paper presents several design improvements on secondary line of 6KV auxiliary power supply system after fully adopting computer monitoring for large genertor units and gives a reference to the same kind of project design.
