Students' Contact with Network:Report from Youjiang Medical College for Ethnic Minorities

广西右江民族医学院有90.1的学生不同程度地接触过网络,校外网吧占了88.8%的绝对比例,有通宵上网经历的学生达32.6%,58.1%的学生上网月开支10-40元,48%的同学登录过成人网站,“英文泛洪现象”有流行之势,74.3%的学生与网上异性交往,但看情况而定说真话或不会说真话的却分占55.6%和10.7%。投资百万的校园网已经开工,网络信息的监测监控与网上思想政治工作将全面铺开。

In Guangxi Youjiang Medical College for Ethnic Minorities,there are 90.1 percent of the students having contact with network mostly through net bars.Of these students,32.6 percent use the Web all night,58.1 percent spend 10 to 40 yuan a month on network,48 percent log on adult websites and 74.3 percent make the opposite sex friends on the Web.Now a million investment has been made to establish the campus network,and the monitoring and control of network information and the ideological and political work on the Web will unfold in an all-round way.
