The character of initial combustion of pulverized coal has great advantage to the de-sign and operation of pulverized coal boilers.The initiation temperature of combustion is an im-portant data of the character of initial combustion.This paper studies the effect of heating rateof sample to initiation temperature of combustion and gives the correlation between the initia-tion temperature of combustion and ultimate and proximate analysis data.
