摘要文章对ATM在第三代移动通信系统中的应用进行了讨论,介绍了ATM适配层AAL2和AAL5在第三代移动通信系统无线接入网中对不同种类业务的接入,还介绍了基于ATM技术的第三代移动通信系统BTS平台与RNC之间信令传输的ATM信令适配层(SAAL)协议族。
