A New MZO Algorithm and Its Application

文章提出了一种实现零偏移距化 (MZO)的新算法。其方法原理简明 ,类同于倾斜时差校正(DMO)。新算法巧妙的应用波场外推的技术及波动方程偏移的有限差分方法。新算法是在共偏移道集上实现的。对于三维地震资料需应用同方位角共偏移距道集。由于此方法采用了快速算法 ,比同类的DMO方法快一倍 。

A new MZO(migration to Zero offset) algorithm, similar to DMO, is introduced in the paper. It is implemented on the common offset gathers with wave field extrapolation and wave equation migration by finite-difference method. It needs common offset gathers with the same azimuth for 3D seismic survey. The new algorithm runs two times faster than the conventional DMO, leading to the equivalent processing results.
