Image segmentation is an important problem in pattern recognition and one of the classical difficult problems, and sonar image segmentation is still an important problem because of its bad quality. A sonar image segmentation method for multi regions based upon fuzzy clustering is put forward in the paper and proved easy and effective by an example.
