This paper will explore the expression patterns of satellites in both English and Chinese, which appear as path and aspect in the semantic components. When satellites are used to express path, there are comparatively more corresponding items between English and Chinese. When satellites are used to express aspect, there are comparatively less corresponding items between the two languages.
