基于分级量化的重要性测试图像编码

摘要 论文提出了一种嵌入式的图像压缩编码算法,针对小波变换后的图像系数进行编码。该算法属于基于分级量化的重要性测试类的编码方法,结合了同属该类方法的SPIHT和SPECK算法的特点,在此基础上提出了新的改进措施,优化了集合分类搜索的策略,改进了量化的步骤,提高了图像压缩的性能。 It proposes an embedded image compression coding algorithm for coefficients of wavelet transfoms.The algorithm belongs to the class of scalar quantized significance testing schemes as SPIHT and SPECK.It has its roots in the ideas developed in the SPIHT and SPECK,but optimizes the scheme of set spliting and searching,and improves the scheme of quantization on the basis of the two algorithm.So it compares to the algorithms that the new algorithm can get better effect in image compression.
