Thoughts on the Political Development of Ethnic Minorities

随着社会主义政治文明建设的全面展开,如何促进少数民族政治发展就成为一个全新的课题。少数民族政治发展的总体目标应该是更加坚决地坚持和维护祖国大家庭的统一和各民族的大团结,在现有的国家政治体系框架内,真正实现各民族共同控制和管理国家政权以及少数民族自主管理本民族、本地区内部事务的权利,使各少数民族都能够在国家范围内与人数众多、经济文化发展较先进的汉族平等相处,共同发展繁荣。少数民族政治发展要在坚持和完善民族区域自治制度;巩固和发展平等、团结、互助的社会主义民族关系;促进各民族共同繁荣进步三个方面下大功夫。

This essay mainly discusses the minority nationality's political development on the background of the modernization, especially the special social conditions and requirements in the construction of the socialistic political civilization in China. The author uses the normal theories of the political development and mainly discusses the meaning, the necessity,the strategic goal and the routing of the minority nationality's political development from four aspects. This essay points out that in the minority nationality's political development in China, we should make great efforts from three aspects:(1)persisting and perfecting in autonomy of minority nationalities.(2)strengthening and developing of socialistic nationality relation.(3)promoting the flourish of each nationality.
