Ideological Challenge and Response in a Global Context

独尊资本主义世界体系的意识形态,在北南冲突中形成的、以南方国际社会力量为核心的"新左派意识形态",以中国为代表的社会主义意识形态,构成了全球化时代意识形态挑战和回应的格局。在这一格局中,社会主义的意识形态虽然处于弱势,但它还必须回应西方资本主义意识形态的挑战。为了持续增强社会主义意识形态在全球的竞争力,我们有必要对理论创新、制度创新进行再认识、再实践,同时要在"立人"上狠下工夫。

The dominant ideology of the capitalist world, the 'neo-left ideology' led by the force of the southern international society which was formed in north-south conflicts, and the socialist ideology represented by China have contributed to the current pattern of ideological challenge and response in this globalizing age. Within this pattern, weak as it is, the socialist ideology must repond to challenges from the Western capitalist ideology. To steadily intensify the competitive capacity of the socialist ideology in the global domain, we must reperceive and repractice theoretical innovation and system reconditioning and make painstaking efforts in 'building up the man'.
