技术创新、制度创新与企业发展:厦新电子扭亏个案研究

Technological and Institutional Innovation: A Case Study of Xiaxin Company

本文试从企业发展的进程阐明技术创新与制度创新的作用及两者之间的关系。在中国不成熟的市场条件下,当企业出现经营性亏损时,资产重组(制度创新)难以从根本上改善上市公司业绩,而适时地进行产业或产品结构调整(技术创新)能更好地扭亏为盈。笔者通过对厦新电子股份有限公司产品转型的调查研究及行为分析,得出以下结论:第一,ST厦新的成功转型充分验证了企业技术创新的重要性;第二,本文不在于判定技术创新与制度创新主导地位归属问题,而认为二者对企业的贡献程度应依不同的发展阶段而定;第三,必须把握好技术创新与制度创新的互动关系、尤其是建立有效的经理人激励机制和权力制衡机制,才能真正实现企业的可持续发展。

This paper tries to expound the relationship between technological innovation and institutional innovation and their functions for enterprise development. When operational losses of enterprises arise, in the unripe market of China, assets reorganization is not easy to fundamentally improve the performance of listed companies. But adjustment in industry or product structure (technological innovation) at the right moment can turn from deficits to profits. From the investigation of the transition of the ST Xiaxin Company, the author gets the following conclusions: First, the successful transition of ST Xiaxin Company fully proved the importance of technological innovation. Second, what the paper concerns is not the primary attribute of technological innovation or institutional innovation, but their contributions to the enterprise according to its different development stage. Third, to achieve sustainable development, it is necessary for the enterprise to control the interaction between technological innovation and institutional innovation, especially to build efficacious manager incentive mechanism and power balance mechanism.
