摘要
对NGN的层次结构以及媒体网关所处的位置和主要功能进行了介绍,重点分析媒体网关的设计目标以及如何提供QoS,以多媒体应用的特征为切入点给出媒体网关支持QoS的方法———依托具有可扩展性的硬件结构,综合语音分组化、自适应QoS保障、传输QoS保障等多种技术机制。
Shows the position and functional features of Media Gateways within the architecture of NGN,concerned about the MG's target performance and QoS guarantee.A reasonable solution is given that integrates several techniques such as voice packetization,adaptive QoS guarantee and transmission QoS guarantee with a scalable hardware structure to guarantee QoS to MGs.
