摘要
本文讨论了保尔·吉的文化模式与评价理论的关联,提出文化模式突现了功能语法框架中的人际意义,尤其是评价意义,并分析了文化模式中的评价意义对文化认知的重要性.
Starting with a comparison between the notions cultural model and schema, the paper proposes that while schema orients toward the ideational and textural meaning in the framework of functional grammar, cultural model emphasizes the interpersonal meaning in general and evaluative meaning in particular. It is the aim of the paper to call attention to the significance of analyzing evaluative meaning in cultural models so as to facilitate the learning and teaching of culture.
