Extraction of giant intraocular foreign body combined with lens-vitrectomy

目的:探讨经前房摘出眼内巨大异物联合晶状体玻璃体切除的适应症及术式选择。方法:对7例手术结果进行回顾性分析。结果:7例眼内巨大异物均成功摘出,对术前视网膜脱离的3例中的2例行硅油注入术,1例C3F8惰性气体注入术,术后4例视力提高,3例视力不变。结论:经前房摘出巨大眼内异物联合晶状体玻璃体切除手术安全,有利于术后提高,可减少术后并发症的发生。

AIM: To evaluate the effect of the extraction surgery of giant intraocular fo reign body via anterior chamber combined with lens-vitrectomy.· MEHTODS: Seven cases of extraction of giant intraocular foreign body were ret rospectively studied.· RESULTS: Giant intraocular foreign body extraction was performed successfully in all the 7 cases. For the 3 cases complicated with retinal detachment, 2 unde rwent silicon oil implantation and 1 inert gas infusion. Postoperative visual ac uity was improved in 4 cases and remained unchanged in the other 3 cases.· CONCLUSION: The extraction of giant intraocular foreign body via anterior cha mber combined with lens-vitrectomy is a safe choice which is helpful to improve visual acuity with few complications.·
