摘要
主要介绍了二维电磁场数值计算软件在并行Transputer系统上的实现。介绍了作者采用Transputer加速板和PC机构成的并行处理系统对电磁场问题求解进行并行化的尝试,并取得相对PC286加速几十倍的初步成果。文中针对采用有限元法求解电磁场问题的特点,着重讨论了大型线性带状对称方程组的并行求解。文中给出了并行高斯消去法在不同数目 (1、、2 、4 个) Transputer所构成的并行系统上求解时间的对比及分析,所获加速比接近于线性增长。最后,介绍了Transputer的应用前景及在电磁场问题求解上的展望。
The implementation of the numerical calculation software for two dimensional electromagnetic field computation on the parallel transputer system is described. The parallelization for solving electromagnetie field problems using parallel processing system consisting of transputer Acceler-ator Board and PC computer is introduced. It obtains the result of ten times speeding up in comparison with PC 286. Considering the characteristic of using finite element method to solve electromagnetic field problem, the para-llel solution of the symmetrical and banded linear of large scale equations is discussed in details. Using parallel Gaussian eliminution algorithm on differ-ent numbers of 1, 2 and 4 transputers respectively to compose the parallel system on which the comparison and analysis of times are resolved, the ob-tained acceleration ratio is approximate in linear increasing. Finally, the ap-plication prospect of transputer and the foresight in the solution of electro-magnetic field problems are introduced.
