Global Router in Automated Layout System for CMOS Gate Array

本文对CMOS门阵自动布图设计系统中的总体布线器作了简单介绍。本文提出的总体布线算法不仅能用来解决一般的门阵总体布线问题,而且对我们开发的大规模集成电路(LSI)自动布图设计系统更显出其优越性。我们所选择的总体布线器的目标函数,与整个布图系统的总目标是非常一致的,同时,应用了许多有效的新方法来使总体布线器的目标得以实现。

This paper briefly discusses the global router in automated layout system for the CMOS gate array. The global routing algorithm discussed in the paper not only can be used to deal with the general global routing problem for the gate array, but is more suitable to our automated layout system. At the same time, a number of effective new methods are utilized in our global router.
